Montego Bay United are the leaders of the Red Stripe Premier League after the first round after a 3-0 win over Rivoli United at Drax Hall, St Ann on Sunday, our seventh win of the season.
We are on 24 points and are on a 10 games unbeaten run since losing the opening game to Portmore United who are in second place after a 1-0 win over defending champions Arnett Gardens in Clarendon on Sunday.
Sunday’s win also saw us emerge unscathed from a tough three games in seven day period where we got seven of a maximum nine points scoring eight goals while conceding three.
Our 25 goals scored are by far the most by any team with Arnett Gardens and Tivoli Gardens next with 16 each.
On Sunday, Allan Ottey in added time at the end of the first half, Ronaldo Rodney in the 70th and Owayne Gordon in time added at the end of the second half scored to ensure another three points.
