Montego Bay United are the new leaders of the Red Stripe Premier League after coming from behind to hand FC Reno their first loss of the season, 2-1 at Frome on Sunday.
Dino Williams scored his third double of the season as MBU passed Portmore United to take over the lead in the points tables on better goal difference as both clubs are on 13 points.
Montego Bay United’s plus 9 goal-difference gives us a comfortable lead over the promoted Portmore who are on plus 4 while Reno slipped to third place on 11 points.
Rushane Thorpe’s 5th minute goal staked FC Reno to the early lead but Williams who was overlooked for the ReggaeBoyz team that will face South Korea on Tuesday morning, local time, levelled the scores in the 29th minute before bagging the winner late in the game, in the 86th minute.
