Montego Bay United were held to a goalless draw 0-0 by Cavalier SC on Monday night in the Red Stripe Premier League at stadium east field in new coach Leonadro Neiva’s debut in Jamaican football.

We suffered a massive blow when striker Dino Williams had to be substituted at half time after he suffered a cut over his left eye late in the first half.

In front of a small crowd on a cool evening, MBU extended their winless run to three games and have not scored in three straight games but closed the gap on leaders Portmore United to two points 26-28 and three more than third place and defending champions Arnett Gardens and Humble Lion.

It was back to back 0-0 score lines for us after we were held at home by promoted UWI FC last week.

Goalkeeper Jacomeno Barrett who returned to the starting line up after watching the UWI FC game from the bench, made three good saves, all from striker Chevone March, preserving a point for us.
